Roman Blinds
Traditional and contemporary styles combine to make the roman
blind a sophisticated window treatment for the interiors of
today.
With several design options available, the roman blind is at
home in a variety of decorating styles.
Classic Roman Blinds. This style is
manufactured by sewing pockets into the blind creating the Roman
folding action. It is a very lightweight blind which assists in the
ease of operation. The simplicity of the Classic Roman blind allows
it to sit comfortably in any décor style.
Sewless Roman Blinds. A the name
describes, this style does not use the sewing method, it uses an
aluminium extrusion on the back of the blind to create the pocket,
giving a nice clean even line from the front of the blind. This
provides an elegant and simple appearance.
Plantation Roman Blinds. This style is
accessorised with timber battens attached to the front and back of
the blind. The battens are available in a wide range of painted or
stained finishes to enhance the fabric colour and will be supplied
in the same colour on the front and back. As with the Sewless blind
above - there is no need for sewing on the Plantation Roman.
Cordlock or light and heavy duty chain control are available
on all above styles of Roman Blinds.
By using a range of accessories they can easily have a tailored
and formal look or a soft and casual style. A choice of operation
and installation methods allow for perfect control of light, sun
and privacy.
